Hi Luis,

Are there any plans for adding wavelets to ITK ?
I remember that there was a discussion at the ITK BOF in Boston about 
this, but I can't remember the conclusions.

Wavelets could be quite useful for edge detection.  We have been using 
Wavelets for edge detection in Ultrasound images.  In fact we published 
our results in this area in "Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology", Vol 
27, No. 1, pp 89-99, 2001.  Paper title "Wavelet-Based Edge Detection 
in Ultrasound Images"
