[Insight-users] How to process a single slice

Hi

I have read that it is possible in ITK to select a region of an image to be 
processed by a filter. I have a 3D dataset and I would like to apply a 
segmentation filter to one of the slices. How could I do this without 
extracting a subvolume consisting of a single slice?
