Hi Marco,

Both applications:

  - follows the best software development practices (See [1] and [2])

  - have a thriving community (See [3] and [4])

  - are built on top of proven technologies CTK, ITK, OpenCV, Python, QT
and VTK, ...

  - provide an interface to execute Command Line module:

Reading the following paper from David Punzo could be helpful. While it
applies to a different domain, it described some interesting comparison
criteria:

be helpful:
