[ITK-dev] Size of ITK source package?

Hi,

I've just downloaded ITK source package from sourceforge and we're
surprised by the size of the source tarball (more than 250Mo).

Looking at the contain, it is due to a hidden directory (ExternalData)
which contains only md5 sums.

I don't think if it is really mandatory to compile the project from source
and it would drastically decrease the size of the archive.
