[Insight-developers] Any plan for a GSoC 2013 within ITK ? (was: Regarding using OpenCL for ITK functions.)

Hi,
Sounds like a good plan! I would love to see some performance
benchmarks comparing the ITK implementations of several algorithms
with other implementations, say from opencv, niftyreg, CImg, etc. This
would be very useful also within ITK to compare the existing GPU
implementations with their CPU counterpart. As far as I know, their is
no published performance benchmark for the GPU code within ITK.
I haven't added this proposal to the wiki as I cannot act as a mentor
for it though.
