The "mwdoc" project hosted on my github provide a convenient interface to
programmatically list wiki pages, edit their content and push the edited
content back to the wiki, ...

For an example of usage with Slicer wiki. See

Note that for Slicer wiki, only a given set IPs can make use of mediawiki
API.
