[Insight-developers] Is it possible to rebase a patch on an older revision?

A gerrit patch is going in as soon as initial build testin works.
The correct solution is turning out to be more difficult, and we will
revisit this next week after some changes by Xiaoxiao are incorporated.
Look at Gerrit in 15 minutes.
