[Insight-developers] Where to put correlation filters?

Hello Developers,

 

Some of us have been discussing recently where to put a number of
correlation-based image filters, and I wanted to gather input from a
larger audience.  This includes some new filters as well as the
"itkNormalizedCorrelationImageFilter", which really doesn't belong in
"ImageStatistics".

 

Here are some of the proposals:

 

-       Put them in the "Modules/Filtering/Convolution" since
correlation and convolution are closely related.

-       Create a new module called "Modules/Filtering/Correlation" and
put them in there

-       Change the name of "Modules/Filtering/Convolution" to something
like "Modules/Filtering/ConvolutionAndCorrelation"

 

Any thoughts?
