[Insight-developers] Gerrit, multiple patches, same topic branch

Gerrit was recently modified to put the branch name on the suggested checkout line for evaluating a patch. Overall, this is great.

But what should one do if there are multiple patches on a topic branch. For example (sorry Gaetan), Gaetan has a number of patches on the "statistics" topic branch. I checked out the first and reviewed it. I then went to check out the second and git complained that there was already a "statistics" branch. I see two options:

1. What I did was just check out the second patch under a different branch name. This seems reasonable for gerritt activities. But it feels like I am shirking some of the benefits of git/gerrit to walk through the patches.

2. Is there a method I should use to pull a second dependent patch down on top of the first patch? Or do I just blow away the first branch before I checkout the second branch?
