[Insight-developers] PNG unsupported in modular ITK

I configured ITK with ITKGroup_IO ON as well as ITK-IO-PNG ON. When I try a
simple example of reading a png file, I get this error:

  what():
 /home/doriad/src/ITK/ITK/IO/Base/include/itkImageFileReader.txx:144:
 Could not create IO object for file Gourds.png
  Tried to create one of the following:
  You probably failed to set a file suffix, or
    set the suffix to an unsupported type.

Thoughts?
