It should. I'm using 2.0.0 and Alex is using 2.0.1.

Yes, that might be a problem, but I'm not sure how important that
problem will be.
Depending on the results we'll get on the developers hosts, we may
have to enforce a minimum swig version.

cableidx should be quite easy to recode based on igenerator.py coded
for wrapitk.
But it was there, and gccxml, which is in the same package, was (and
is still) required to build wrapitk, so we didn't tried to remove that
dependency.
