[Insight-developers] Proper way to fork itk with testing/data?

Hi,

I'm forking itk 4 to a github repo. We'd like to include the
Insight/testing/data repo too. Can one of the git guru's on the list
tell me the proper way to do that? 

I figure I should do this:

- create a separate repo in github for the data
- push to it from Insight/testing/data
- modify Insight/.gitsubmodules (or .gitmodules, can't remember now) to
point to the github repo.

Anything else? Thanks.
