[Insight-developers] RecursiveMultiResolutionPyramidImageFilter -- questions about fixing bug 8482

Hans Johnson asked me to look at

I just modified the RecursiveMultiResolutionPyramidFilter to use
ResampleImageFilter instead of ShrinkImageFilter, as apparently Jim Miller
suggested would be a good idea.

In looking at the constellation of bugs related to this, I'm concerned about
simply checking in the change.  In particular, consider:

In making RecursiveMultiResolutionPyramidFilter consisitent with
MultiResolutionPyramidFilter, I made the smoother use ImageSpacing.  This is
consistent; is it desirable?

The changes I made pass regression tests. Does anyone want me to send them a
patch to try before I check in the fix?
