[Insight-developers] Changes to itkOptImageToImageMetric causing crashes

Hi,
It is great that you did find the other bug and fixed it. I don't think we
should roll-back the changes...I'm sure your changes helped solve some
problems, but I think they may have revealed another problem.
We just need to dig a bit.
