itkImageFileWriterStreamingPastingCompressingTest_DCM has been failing
here:
http://www.cdash.org/CDash/testDetails.php?test=17748565&build=278491
This test is designed to go through every combination of streaming
pasting and compression. The expected output is either to throw an
exception to to produce a correct output.
From the output:
Combination: 0 0 1
Error: In /home/kitware/Dashboards/MyTests/Insight/Utilities/gdcm/src/
gdcmPixelReadConvert.cxx, line 494, function <unknow>
Sorry GDCM does not handle this type of fragments
NumberOfPixelsWithDifference: 62980
Images differ
This is for the test case of no streaming, no pasting, but compression
is turned on.
Looking at itkGDCMImageIO I see the following:
// By default use JPEG2000. For legacy system, one should prefer JPEG
since
// JPEG2000 was only recently added to the DICOM standard
m_CompressionType = JPEG2000;
Is this SUN system a legacy system where this compression type does
not work? Any other ideas why this is failing?
