[Insight-developers] Fixed width integer types, itkIntTypes, and portable 64-bit integer

Hi Brad,

My two cents:
- I like the idea of deprecating the funny looking and wrong types in
itkIntTypes.h
- The only option I would rule out is option 2*


I wasn't aware of the kwsys::FundamentalType_IntXX. Thanks for the information.

*Relying on vxl for a functionality already in kwsys does not quite feel right.

Do we really need to rewrap the types in kwsys? We could just uses
these types as is.
