[Insight-developers] Very strange interaction between some itk image io and vtk io - sample images

The culprit seems to have been the jpeg library when vtk was compiled
with the "USE_SYSTEM_JPEG" option. In my case this library came from
macports. Seems that using the itk versions of all libraries will be
the way to go in the future...
