Hi Tom,
We have had several spam attacks on the phpBugTracker
in recent days.
We are looking into this matter, and one of the options is to
modify the configuration of the web interface to restrict editing
rights only to:
- The originator of the bug report
- The owner of the bug
- The administrators
Unfortunately this will prevent user "B" from contributing
comments to a bug report logged by user "A". Although,
from our experience, that third party editing does not
happen to often. Most of the time the additional comments
are logged between the originator of the bug and the owner.
Unless there are any objections we will be switching
this option in the following days.
Regards,
Luis
