Hi,

Unless I'm completly wrong, pdflatex does not support eps files. You have  
to produce a .ps file and to convert it to pdf in that case. I have made a  
conribution template available at  
http://voxel.jouy.inra.fr/darcs/contrib-itk/template/ with a Makefile  
which do that. Feel free to use the Makefile, or the entire template
