[Insight-developers] problems with gcc 3.4.2 and ITK

I just had a short, unhappy, brush with gcc 3.4.2. In addition to
numerous complaints about code other than ITK, when I tried building ITK
it had several new errors, and said that I needed to use '-fpermissive'
to get some ITK headers to compile.

Has anyone else investigated using gcc/g++ 3.4 ? I've always had good
luck with the 3.3.X versions.
