The first thing that you want to do is to subscribe
to the users list (not the developers list).

The developers-list is intended for discussing the
implementation and improvement of the code in ITK,
as well as for assisting those who contribute new
code to the toolkit.

Regarding your interest in Image Registration,


You will find all what you need in the following documents:


1)  The ITK Software Guide

     http://www.itk.org/ItkSoftwareGuide.pdf

     First, you *must* read the section on image
     resampling. This is section 6.7.1, pdf-pages
     199-210.

     Then, you *must* read the registration Chapter.
     This is Chapter 8, pdf-pages 241-340.  This
     chapter will guide you through the code examples
     available in

        Insight/Examples/Registration


2) The Tutorials
