Whoops.  Yesterday I committed 2 fixes to the 1.6 branch of ITK and one
fix to the 1.6 branch of InsightApplications:
1. ConnectVTKITK.i had broken line endings.  Fixed.
2. itkPyCommand (a Python-wrapping observer) could cause segfaults due
to callable objects disappearing.  Fixed.
3. I fixed the LevelSet wrapping (meaning FastMarching can be used with
1.6).  It was already done, just incorrectly.

In future I will make use of the bug tracker when wanting to apply fixes
to a branch.
