This change has caused errors when wrapping on SGI and Intel compilers:

ENH: Using new gccxml option --gccxml-gcc-options to specify include path in

ile.  This avoids creating excessively long command lines for custom
commands.

Building appears to work properly if I revert back to version 1.48 of this
file.
