[Insight-developers] Purify problems

Even if you did not write one of these tests, you should look at
these Purify problems in case someone else is using a subsystem 
you created.

For instance, the dashboard shows a lot of Purify problems since the
regression tests have been added.  Alot of these problems are in the
IO subsystem.

These problems can cause unexpected crashes is user code, and should not
be that hard to fix.
