Yes, please,
that's a great need now.

In the recent examples for RegionGrowingSegmentation  and
LevelSetSegmentation there is a great deal of mask images.
Some of them are auxiliary some are just for display.

A user also asked recently for contour encoding... we could
think in something like the NodeContainer that Lydia used for
implementing the NarrowBand approach in LevelSets.
