[Insight-developers] regression testing

We have done regression testing with Dart and VTK. We intend to do the same for Insight.

We use PNG for VTK. I assume we'll do the same for Insight. Perhaps we can discuss this Friday,

Does DART support running file diffs for regression testing?  How might I
go about setting this up for our various image filter tests?

Related questions:
- Is PNG the agreed format for testing I/O (the PNG readers/writers are
available, correct?)
- Where do we store the input/output data for regression tests
