It is a very large and complete dicom system - handles dicom server,
client, and printer functions - it is a mini-PACS.   It is very well
maintained for Suns and Windows.   The library compiles but some of the
fancy comm apps don't work under IRIX.   I will verify cygwin and linux
compilation of the library.

I was running 2.11.2, but I see that 3.0 is now out...I will test it...
