Out-of-source build fails on Irix.  Configure fails to 
create the Insight/Utility directory and gmake goes into
an infinite loop attempting to cd to Insight/Utility.
>How-To-Repeat:
On Irix:
1) Clean checkout of Insight
2) Make sure build uses native compiler (if gcc is also installed)
by setting environment variables:
   CC cc
   CXX CC
   CXXFLAGS -LANG:std
3) Do an out of source build (with gmake)
