Dear Ashwath,
IGSTK does not provide classes for separating a single mesh object into
multiple objects. You will have to create a filter that does this using
a combination of ITK (mesh processing) and VTK (interaction, possibly
processing). The result can obviously be displayed and used for
navigation guidance in IGSTK. It is not a question whether you use IGSTK
or ITK and VTK. The toolkits are complementary to each other. Depending
on your needs you will often have to use all three.
