I just saw your email after I responded to Sebastian

Let us wait and hear his response. I can definitely give him guidelines and
in general it is a good thing to have others get involved in actual 
implementations.

Furthermore, this will "motivate" me to write down a guideline on how to 
extend
the tracker component for new tracker types.
