[IGSTK-Developers] status of book and follow-up from tcon today

Hi everyone:

 

First of all, thanks to Luis for helping run the tcon today and to Patrick
for taking the minutes. It was a good tcon and I felt very good about the
project after, so keep up the good work!

 

There are two major things we need to finish by the end of August:

1)       any coding work and release of toolkit (version 2.0???)

2)       finish the book

 

As for the book, I went through all the chapters and made an excel
spreadsheet with the status as attached. In particular some current actions
items are:

*	Chapter 1: Kevin Cleary to finish
*	Chapter 4: Requirements: Kevin to check status with Brian
*	Chapter 3: Architecture: Kevin Gary to review (after he finishes
writing his chapter)
*	Chapter 8: Tracker: James Zhang to review
*	Chapter 12: logging: Kevin will ask Hee-su if he can write this
*	Chapter 14: Registration: James Zhang to review

 

So please keep working on the book! It is important to finish this and
produce a quality document.

 

Next, I will forward the edits of the tracker chapter from our editor.
