Jim uses this: http://www.toolscenter.org/front_content.php?idcat=26 it's a Latex IDE aimed at Latex noobs. I tend to use Xemacs and Make. YMMV.

Ah, yes, this makes much more sense. :)
Do you have any recommendations for Latex tools/editors/etc?
