Message-ID: <4D593065.1070602@bwh.harvard.edu> Hello CTK Fans - A huge amount of code was pounded out last week and it is all fitting together nicely into a very coherent package. There's still a lot of integration and debugging to do, but there is now a working PACS query/retrieve and image viewer application plus code for passing images to/from a hosted application using DICOM Part 19 protocols. The xmlrpc event bus also got a lot of polish work, plus the doxygen documentation and wiki examples have a lot of new content and functionality. And of course there was a lot of cross-platform build system work. > http://www.commontk.org/index.php/CTK-Hackfest-Feb-2011#Accomplishments_and_Next_Steps Big thanks to Stephen, Jc, and Julien as the local hosts in Chapel Hill and to everyone who came from far and wide to work on this. Then I tested the examples, such as ctkDICOMIndexer, ctkDICOMViewer. ctkDICOMIndexer works well, but there is something wrong with ctkDICOMViewer. When I import dicom directory of files, it could not create the related dicom files and thumbnails in the database path. Have checked the code, I did not find anything wrong. However, I found the dicom file or thumbnail path is so long that I wondered if the length of the path has exceed max_length of windowsXP. for example, this is one of the paths created after I import a dicom directory: D:\CTK\bin\CTK-build\bin\Debug\thumbs\1.2.840.113619.2.244.6945.2466594.25089.1255409654.794\1.2.840.113619.2.244.6945.2466594.25089.1255409654.792\dicom\1.2.840.113619.2.135.3596.6134758.4831.1168041039.905\ 1.2.840.113619.2.135.3596.6134758.4614.1168041101.474 And when I try to open the directory 1.2.840.113619.2.135.3596.6134758.4614.1168041101.474, there is no response. Then I used cmd to open it, it said: can not find the diectory. So I think the problem should be the path length which exceeds windowsXP's limit. Did anyone meet problems like this ? It would be great appreciated if anyone could help me with it. Thanks very much. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I got as far as //Enable Visualization/VTK/Core Library. CTK_LIB_Visualization/VTK/Core:BOOL=ON //Enable Visualization/VTK/Widgets Library. CTK_LIB_Visualization/VTK/Widgets:BOOL=ON and thats when the nmake error occurs. Im linking to an external vtk build so that I dont have to download and wait for it to build within ctk. This will write out a cache file with all those arguments in it instead of passing them via the command line.
