Maybe QVector<double> needs to be entered in the meta object system.
Can you try adding
qRegisterMetaType<QVector<double> > ("QVector<double>");
in the constructor function of ctkMatrixWidget (better: init() of
ctkMatrixWidgetPrivate if it exists)
