Hi Anchit,

I took a look at the source
<https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/ITK/blob/master/Modules/Filtering/BinaryMathematicalMorphology/include/itkBinaryPruningImageFilter.hxx>
code, and it does seem to be 2D-only.
