image_view is defined in my mainwindow.cpp as :
image_view = vtkImageViewer2::New();

Hi Abdelkhalek,
this is not a self-contained example, so I can't debug it. The most suspicious part is:
image_view->GetInput();
because one usually gets the output of something, not its input.
