Hi Jerry,

The LesionSizingToolkit [1], and TubeTK [2], both based on ITK, may be
helpful here.  The LesionSizeToolkit is available as a Remote Module.  It
can be built by setting Module_LesionSizingToolkit=ON in your CMake
configuration.
