[ITK] Creating DICOM files containing dose information

Hi,
  I am using ITK with GDCM, and want to create DICOM files which contain dose information. As an example, if I have a 512x512 matrix which contains voxel-by-voxel dose information, can anyone hint how I might be able to write this dose information out into a DICOM file? Any hints or examples would be very much appreciated to get me started on this.
