[ITK] [ITK-users] typename keyword

Hi,

I know that this question may be a C++ more question, but thought of asking
it here as I couldn't find a clear explanation of the issue.

In the page here:
https://github.com/ComplexSystemsModeling/DCMTK-ITK/blob/master/Modules/Numerics/Statistics/include/itkScalarImageToRunLengthMatrixFilter.h#L129

I came about this statement:

  typedef typename ImageType::OffsetType OffsetType;

What does "typename" mean here? When do we use it?
