[ITK Community] [Insight-developers] ObjectFactoryBase throwing uncaught exceptions

Hi Brian,
Since the factories can be registered at runtime, it seems reasonable
that an application may want to recover from these failures cleanly.
For example, Slicer seems to look for these exceptions [1].
