the problem still persist even if I modify my Read_Image function to:


const ScalarPixelType pixelType = imageIO->GetComponentType();
Read_Image(pixelType);

template <typename TYPE1>
void Read_Image(TYPE1 input)
{
        typedef itk::Image< input, 3 >  ImageType1;
        ...
        ...
}


I don't understand why it doesn't compile with two same pixel types
