Hi, 

what I read so far, there is no redistribution limit of the binaries compiled with visual studio express.

The cmake error can be turned off with a variable. You must then use the runtime dll installer to provide the needed dlls on other systems. OTOH, this installer is actually the way recommended by microsoft.
