The most important thing is to set the deployment target to 10.6.  See "CMAKE_OSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET".  If you want to support both 32 and 64 bit CPUs, you should also set the architectures, see "CMAKE_OSX_ARCHITECTURES".
