[CMake] Ninja generator is Linux-only?

I found that thread; it seems to have 3 or 4 messages.  None of them
really explains the issue, but I can take your word for it.  It's
surprising that there would be problems on the Mac that aren't present
on Linux, but I guess it's plausible.
