[CMake] more targets to run in parallel

You may avoid to create a list in the first place:
set(myoptions "one two three")
instead of
set(myoptions one two three)

cmake --help-command list

or you can
string(REPLACE ";" " " stringopts "${myoptions}")
message(STATUS "${stringopts}")
