[CMake] external tools in visual studio

What I once read is, that visual studio creates a snapshot of the PATH variable, when it is installed. So when your PATH has the GnuTools path included and VS is installed, it is available. 

However, i could not find out any other reason, so this might be true!?

Me neither - I love to have a linux/unix shell ;-)
