Yes, by applying the patch from qt-win, the open source version of Qt
4.1.3can be compiled with MSVC 2005 Express Edition. A step by step
description
is here: http://wiki.qgis.org/qgiswiki/Building_QT_4_with_Visual_C++_2005

By using the above compiled version of Qt plus CMake 2.4.2, you can now use
NMake to compile VTK 5.0 with Qt GUISupport without any problems.
