[CMake] Verbose compiling with Nmake...

Hi,
I am unable to get verbose compiling to see the command line 
being passed to cmake with the settings (Cmake 2.0.6,nmake generator) 

SET(CMAKE_VERBOSE_MAKEFILE ON)
SET(CMAKE_START_TEMP_FILE "")
SET(CMAKE_END_TEMP_FILE   "")

as described on the wiki. What am I missing?
