[Cmake] Problems with XP

Bill etc,

The problem turned out to be utterly trivial (as usual). Colleague had
somehow munged his directory and there was no cmakelists.txt file in the
root where we were telling cmake to find the sources. 

I think the error message was a little inappropriate! Something like
CMakelists.txt not found might have been more useful:)
