[Cdash] HIgh load and stalled submissions

Hi Paul,

we switched to asynchronous submissions, when we experienced the 
problem. Since then, we never had any issues with this again.
Have you tried setting
    $CDASH_ASYNCHRONOUS_SUBMISSION = true;
in cdash/config.php?
